Are trady chicks more likely to be gay or bi?

I'm an Aussie and no, tradie (I spelt it the right way) are not usually more inclined to being either gay or bi.

Tradie. I've lived in Australia my entire life, And no one spells it "trady". Trady seems more like a shortening of traditional. Trad-y.

No. You're stereotyping and over simplifying.

It's hard to say without doing a full blown survey of female tradies, which would probably be tough lol. I've seen those reports of the brain scans showing typical male and female responses to certain stimuli being markedly different, and how this can correspond to career choice, but this would only account for more "masculine" behaviour, rather than actually being gay. Are you saying that the girls seem more masculine, or are you actually asking if more of them are gay? Don't confuse those two things, they are very different.

    • Masculinity goes in hand with higher testosterone levels thus being more likely to be gay, bi or bi curious

Does it? What specific studies show that testosterone levels correlate to sexuality? (Not trying to do a "gotcha", I'm genuinely interested in the science and I've not heard of this link before)

  • I feel like peoples interest in a carrer doesn’t determine or have anything to do with sexual attraction. But some cases yeah maybe a roofer is a lesbian but not all are. Same with any job doesn’t matter some will and won’t. Just easier to assume when they give off a mans job vibe but any gender can do whatever they want. Only girl mechanics I’ve seen are straight. But I’m sure there’s some who aren’t like every carrer.

    • In sure girls whom work with mechanics are secretly gay or bi

      • There’s no connection between a interest in working vs a interest in sexual attraction. You wanted to see others imput if you can’t take it and think you’re so right then don’t even ask. What’s the point in arguing a side that doesn’t even make sense.

        • My side makes perfect sense and though obviously not all women whom are into masculine jobs are not bi or gay, majority will at least have the inclination. These women obviously have higher testosterone levels than your typical feminine straight girl working at a beauty parlor

Even if it were true that they have higher testosterone levels(spoiler alert they don’t), there’s also no connection between testosterone levels and sexual orientation. So you’re 0-for-2.

I honestly don't try to make snap judgments about person depending on their jobs or their lifestyle, and I try not to make snap judgments about people on the internet, however you come across as a bad tempered tool who likes to argue with others that do not share your opinions.

I think majority of men are intimidated by this hence the defensive behavior

Not sure about AUS but here in the USA they are more likely to be gay or bi. Just that the trades are so testosterony. Not a typical straight female environment. Even if the women ARE straight, they are still pretty rough around the edges.
