Are you a cartoon or theater gamer?

I hope you all get the reference to this. When I say cartoon gamer I mean simple games like crash, spyro, harry potter type games. When I say theater gamer I mean things like first person shooter that very complicated, that not everyone can play and all about the experiences type gamer.

    Honestly, I've never even heard of games being categorized like that but I know what you mean. Truthfully, I play em all~ Give me some Kirby, Ratchet and Clank, classic Crash and Spyro games (because the new ones are questionable) Sly Cooper, Sonic, Megaman, very fun stuff.

    At the same time, I'll play some Infamous, Crysis, Vanquish, Gears of War, Arrow to the Knee, Armored Core, all that good stuff. Just no CoD please, I need something more than the usual soldier attire to get me interested.

      I made up these descriptions since it is so hard trying to explain the difference between someone who likes crash next to someone who is into things for shooters and xbox. So I made this up.

        Its cool, I can still see what you meant and I'm not sure how I would have separated them either. Its true that Kirby isn't exactly Gears of War but then you have things like Gunstar Heroes or Metal Slug.

    Don't play much video games. But I've noticed that there haven't been very many cartoon games lately, it's usually just been first person shooter games.

    I'd argue that a lot of today's more popular FPS's aren't very "complicated" They are often extremely linear and require little thought. Just shoot everyone you see. There are a lot of "cartoon" games that actually provide more challenge then games like COD or Battlefield.

    As for the actual question I enjoy playing both. Just depends on my mood.

      Ok but not everyone likes one person shooters and some people who are good at things like crash are horrible at them.
