I'vev been hearing a lot about nudism recently, so it's made me wonder just how common is it. Are you a nudist?

In my own home yes. Sometimes I'll go topless if we're out at a bonfire and it's really hot or something like that, I've done it before in my own home with friends when I didn't hae air conditioning. But I don't do it often, and I have offended some people by being topless. I have an almost fear of being naked around other people though, I dunno, don't want them to think I look gross or something?
That reminds me of this time I went to the river with a bunch a friends and one of my female friends decided to sunbathe topless. A woman and her 5 year old daughter walked by and the little girl freaked out and asked her mother why that woman was "showing off her boobies?" At five, the girl believed this to be a bad thing.
Wow. I feel like even me when I was 5 would have been more curious than anything. Like oh, is that what Im gonna look like someday? XD
People are so damn repressed when it comes to their bodies anymore, it's kind of sad. I know when I was a little kid I would get my knuckles smacked if I had an itch "down there" and tried to scratch, all that "NOOO! NEVER TOUCH YOURSELF THERE THATS SO DIRTY!!" So scared of our own bodies, even me apparently since I'm afraid to go nude. XD Only time I ever did I was drunk and rolling with two good friends and we went streaking around the apartment building for the hell of it at 3 in the morning.
The worst part of it was the fact that it was an isolated location. In this area everyone knows that means naked people. Those people were out of place. Nudity is legal in my area and not nearly enough people take advantage of it. I only go naked in the woods if everyone else goes naked. Strength in numbers, right? :)
Hells yeah. It's definitely more comfortable if everyone or mostly everyone in the group is down for it. Then no one feels more awkward than anyone else, thus negating the awkwardness XD
What is your area if you don't mind me asking? I'd love to live in a place where nudity was legal, I've thought about at least trying to campaign in pennsylvania for women to have the right to go topless.
I live in Oregon. We have a lot of hot springs and hippies. There are certainly places where wearing a bathing suit is weird and "clothing optional" signs are very visable.
My city also likes to protest. I'm waiting for the naked protest to be organized. I don't know if it will happen but it would amuse me to no end if it did. Especially as the cops have a bad reputation and all that prudish behavior will make for a memorable event. Although I doubt it would be on TV.
I think the person that made this poll should have added one like "I wish I could be a nudest" or something like that...
I love to be a nudist at home with family. I feel low stress as a nudist. I would separate it from family life, but that’s basically impossible. If mother-in-law moves in, I’ll have a long talk and persuade wife to agree that not only I continue (because wife strongly prefers it), but wife agrees to allow MiL to be a nudist.
Anytime I am at the house by myself I absolutely don't wear clothes. There will be times to when I get home and I know no one is home and I will immediately strip of my clothes. Love it.
I’m a Nudist. So is my Wife, 2 of my 3 daughters and all 3 of my sons.
Public, we don’t hide who we are lest we end up with fake friends.
We have lost many relationships because of Nudism, but you have to be true to who you are not just live to meet the expectations of those around you be it family or whatever.
My oldest daughter is not a Nudist, we don’t treat her differently and she treats us the same regardless of what we wear because she knows what you wear is not who you are.
hell yeah! i am naked now as usual. my wife and kid are usually naked too. why wear clothes if you don't have to? nudism is cool- such a sense of freedom.
i wear my pants for about 2 weeks then change into
a clean pair after i shower
