Are you a perfectionist when it comes to creating things?

Personally I am a bit of a perfectionist. For example when playing the Sims 3 I've spent literally hours making my Sims look exactly how I want them to with all the exact colours and such. What about you?

Yes, I'm very fussy and like to make everything a masterpiece 46
Mostly - I often like to make things perfect but sometimes not 42
Sometimes I make things perfect, other times I just settle for good 26
Rarely do I want to perfect my works - only on special occasions 6
Never, I don't care how good something I've made looks 5

Spent two days on an Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion character. And don't get me started on Fallout...

When it comes to creations that I consider art, nothing is ever good enough. Nothing is ever finished. Always some way to alter or improve it.

When it comes to games with character customization it's more a matter of "Okay...this bullshit needs to end so I can actually play".

  • Not really no. Unless I'm working on something I love (writing for example) then I'm not a prude for perfection.

I'm the same. I like to explore every option and see how it all looks to make sure I've made something as good as I think it can be.

absolutely not. when creating something it serves utility, and once that utility is complete the project is done. if you want to make optimal money or be a show off/look cool to people then perfecting its look/image will later be important.

i'm very creative, to the point that I invent things to create. I invented ways to home decorate, and I do beadwork. I just bought the beads and invented my own way to make jewelry, i'm weird that way. it's a determination, and i'm actually prettu good, although not very good atdoing it in a timely manner.

I can't perfect things im making. Adding any sort of detail where I have to be careful really stresses me out and I can't stop shaking. I get incredibly frustrated so I just end up leaving it a little bit wonky or messed up.

If there's a word called perfection ...it must be attained.
