Are you hiding part of your life from iin?

Have you hidden, or not mentioned, a significant part of your life from IIN? Even anonymously...just any part of your life that's significant but a complete secret from IIN.

Such as : your status as a parent, your marital status, your religion...etc. Something that's a HUGE part of your life but you've never mentioned it before, even anonymously, on IIN.

I'm not talking about things like your age or where you live (most people hide that at least!!), I'm talking about major life occurrences that you could talk about but have chosen to not talk about, whether privately and anonymously or not.

I've been very open in the past, a little too open at times! Even though this community is rather small, we need to remember how to stay safe online!

Some things that I've been meaning to say, but was unsure of in what format to put them. (Here seems like the appropriate place!)

If you've been on here for awhile, you may remember a time when I was acting out of character. I was dealing with a bout of mental illness (personality) and going through an identity/personality crisis. I didn't want to admit that I didn't know what was wrong with me, because of pride. How many people want to admit that they have a problem?

Earlier this month, I accidentally stumbled into the experimentation of LEGAL psychedelics (I don't have the balls to be trying those substances of which have been deemed illegal), and my life hasn't been the same. It greatly changed. I have benefited so much. My mental illnesses are gone. Other areas of my life and well being are continuously improving.

I could cry. I was beginning to lose the hope that I would ever see an end to my problems.

This is why I'm now more commonly found residing within the D&A section, because this subject so greatly fascinates me.

There's more, but I don't want to make this post too long. Besides, there's a time and a place for everything. Many thanks to the OP for giving me this appropriate platform for expression. :)

Just curious Avante-Garde, what are legal psychedelics?

Olive leaf tea + green tea

Chamomile (while not pyschedelics, both chamomile and green tea contain quercetin, which when taken after a psychedelic, will intensify the effects and make a seemingly gone high return).

        Chaga

        Cinnamon

        Black pepper

        Basil

        Turmeric

        Cumin

I think that's it, but I feel like I'm missing something.

Funnily enough, I consume most of these ingredients most days.

Sounds like these things help balance you out in many ways?

          Thanks.

Yes. But, I've had some very unpleasant throwback results from spices. What has consistently been the best for me, is the olive leaves with green tea. I've never smoked weed, but I think it should be put right up with it in terms of its profound healing and spiritual abilities.

I know it's most likely unnecessary and that you don't need to hear it, but I'm gonna say it anyway... Be careful with drugs and make sure you're safe. I say that with your well-being in mind. Legal highs can sometimes be more dangerous than their illegal counterparts - just look at synthetic cannabinoids. In the case of psychedelics this might not strictly apply, and I can't exactly say that this is my area of expertise, however I have heard that LSD is safe due to there being practically no toxicity and shrooms are also a decent alternative. Both of which are probably illegal, on the downside.

I've mentioned more true stuff about myself here than I ever have to people I know. If I told them what I confessed to on here, I'd get judged pretty harshly by them.

Well, I'm a very honorable person in principles, intentions and actions. But that's not for me to judge. Even the idea of being dishonest to my own profit or gain disturbes me which is why I find hard to take advantage of other people, even in business(will have to change that if I want to become financially prosper) .

I will answer truthfully to what is asked, even if it means damage to myself in any way(expect for criminal offenses), though some informations aren't meant to be disclosed, specially to random strangers on the Internet.

Hypothetically I'd be more prone to lying if I was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I don't even drink, only smoke half a dozen cigarettes a day.

Why would someone hide their age or location assuming their not masking their cybernetic imprint? It's easily traceable to the devs or black hat hackers.

More personal information about myself will come up eventually. Don't expect me to put up my life resume for no reason.

This website is very peculiar in the sense that helps us embrace our weirdness and others aswell, altering intolerant judgment and discrimination by society standards. On the other hand it may give the sense that crooked behaviour is something normal, which is not.

I have revealed my material status, my age, where I live, my first name, and even my last name when someone correctly guessed it once here. I can't think of anything major I am hiding. If there is something I haven't mentioned, it is because it never came up, not because I am actively hiding it.

I'm quite open about those parts of my life that I mention here, including some things that I probably would reveal to few if any people IRL.

Well, except for my weird fetish, which I keep dancing around the edges of.

At the same time, there are vast tracts of my life having to do with my job, my family life, and my personal beliefs, which I've mentioned on IIN only very marginally if at all.

I'm a little ashamed of my taste I guess, so I rarely discuss certain topics because I'm afraid I'll get asked what I like. I don't lie about that stuff, I just avoid talking about it. I've been judged or prejudged WAY too many times for it to be worth it. You'd be surprised how an ordinary, even friendly, human being will turn on you if they don't understand your tastes or preferences. It's really closed minded of them.
