I do not believe in God or the devil. I don't believe in any sort of religion or its teachings. I live my life how I want to live it, and do not hate or judge others for how they want to live theirs. I never give reasons why I don't believe, because I don't think it matters. Everyone wants to be loved, so I try to live positively and make people feel loved. I am me.
I don't know/ don't care but I'm leaning towards being an atheist. One question: why are there atheist churches? Just curious.

Religion is a hard thing to decide which one I believe in. Sometimes I believe in God, sometimes I think its all so stupid. So I narrowed it down, I believe it "DO WHATEVER YOU WANT, ITS OK, JUST AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T HARM ANYONE OR THING PHYSICALLY OR EMOTIONALLY". No one knows what our "higher power" is, so lets just live. If I was God, I would want everyone to live, be happy, and respect one another.

Saing that a believer is happier than an unbeliever is like comparing a drunk with normal.
I don't know what to believe. I refuse to believe that I am related to a monkey, but then its hard to believe a god created all of this. It seems to fairytale-like.
Atheist.
Religon always contridicts itself, says illogical things, relies on failed mentality etc.
Religion was created to explain things without needing proof. Why did my mom live? Because God gave her strength.
Science is used to explain things with proof. Why did my mom live? Because the hospital and our insurance gave her chemo.
She believes the first. I believe the second. And yet I'm the "ungrateful" one. Religion is a strange thing.

Also Most of my friends are religious but are not placed in the best life situations, they pray to god for help. And when good things come around to help them, they thank god for his blessings. Things like that make me respect Religion, Its like a mental buffer for bad things. Humans, I beleive would go insane without it, striving for eternity, wondering why everything is here. I was raised a christian but for as long as I can remember I had doubts, I thought "oh man those stupid christians, they are beleiling in a god that doesn't exsist". But when I made friends with these people, I realized how smart these people where, and why they believed in god. Sometimes I wish I COULD believe in god, everytime im convinced, I end up just overpowering it with my own thoughts.. I have learned that I believe in the teachings of science, because they don't jump to many conclusions without proving it with observational facts. I still with I could just believe in a god, so I won't have to worry about why everything is here. If I believed in god, I would already know. Even if some people don't think the way god see's it is the "right" observation. If it isn't then what is?

Final note: Many people site the film "What the Bleep Do We Know?" when speaking of spirituality. For the record, this film has been found to be highly inaccurate and to have only one professional scientist (professor or person who has been published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal). Dr. David Albert has denounced the film, claiming he was misrepresented.
Most of the time I go to church for two reasons 1. To make my parents happy 2. Mostly just to socialize

The belief in a god is completely irrational and useless in this day and age. Just ask yourself if this world seems like it was created by a perfect being. Its just superstition and conforming to the beliefs of your family which is programmed in your head from childhood... completely nonsensical...
Let's say I'm a person who believes God exists, but doesn't worship, nor believe Him to be more important than a source of spiritual comfort in life and in the assumed afterlife. What would you see me to be?
I do believe in god, but I dont believe thatr much in organised religion. I just dont agree with those teachings.

And questions of science and questions of religion and existence are two different categories and not mutually inclusive.
Im Agnostic. I was raised Christian but I never understood the religion, the teachings or the stories. I do agree with most of the morals it teaches but some of them I don't.
I wont say for a fact god, monsters, angles are a lie and does not exist since I believe anything is possible and we always have more to discover. In fact many monsters have been proven real. Such as the kraken which is based on an octopus which was believed to be a monster bit its just an animal.
I am not so arrogant as to say I know everything as that would limit the knowledge I can gain. I am generally open to others arguments and ideas even if I do not agree with them.
If they are going to argue something like the president of the US and the Queen of England are both aliens as far fetched as it sounds I would curiously listen to whatever explanation they put force. I mean even if its complete nonsense its always interesting listening to a good story right?
I also hate the idea of basing credibility on ones religion or non-religion. Like "Im christian I must be right" or "Im atheist I must be right".
judging by how different from every other organism we humans are, i believe that we were unnaturally given intelligence and our body form. by unnaturally, i mean by some sort of creator or advanced beins from elswere in the universe. probably as an experiment
If you ignore the human lack of pelage, we are generally similar to all the other mammals. Not that different.
And as to intelligence, sure, we have that. But we're often not very smart--we're the only organism besides a virus that routinely destroys its environment.
At my first few days at a christian boarding school, I felt very offended and was afraid I'd go into some athiest rant and be kicked out of the school (which is my last chance and I have nowhere to go)
i'm a multi-theist i believe the parts of all rekligions that make the most since to me.
A true believer in Christ as My Saviour. A Born Again Christian and Love My Saviour and appreciate Him coming to this awful earth to teach us His Love and Die on that horrible Cross so we may have the Second Birth, and I will be upholding all of you in Prayer that are non-belivers and trust my Saviour to change you souls.
I Think the best options on this poll would be atheist/theist/agnostic/not sure
I am agnostic and i hate it when some atheists think theism is all about stupid books that say shitty stuff.
