I have a sort of grating British accent which sounds like a kid's toy which has run out of batteries. It's boring, and I think it sounds awful! I don't know how anyone puts up with the bloody thing. Some English accemts are nice...but damn! Mine is worse than silence! My husband's is gorgeous though...soft Dublin brogue...lilting, like the gentle rock of a boat in summertime, drifting past swathes of swishing weeping willows...!
I do tend to have a soft voice. It has always been a characteristic of mine...
Yup. But I always feel like I'm speaking loudly so I talk even quieter sometimes. Luckily, I havent pissed anyone off yet.
I think its a half and half type thing, but more often then not I am soft spoken.
People at my work have told me that before. I think I'm just like that there though. At home I'm very loud. I think it depends how comfortable I am. I might be more shy at work and thats why I seem more soft spoken.
