Ariana grade has a beautiful voice but the topics are all the same?

So I don’t understand how everybody is so hyped about her and the songs, I mean she has great potential but especially her songs are just all about the same things, it’s a bit boring
Also, does she act cute or is that her personality? I usually don’t think about that very often but since a few months now, or well, also before that, YouTube is always recommending me that stuff and videos of people talking about how great her lyrics are
What do you guys think

      I had never heard of them, but after a browse through youtube, I can say they got some catchy songs, especially Istanbul. That one is on fire.

      Tho I wouldn't go as far and say they have the best lyrics. I believe that one goes out to Pink Floyd. Every song has a story and a deep meaning.

          A lot, I like rock, rap, alternative, opera, the old 70/80/90 stuff, a bit of electro and so on, but I somehow don’t like that one, dunno why

    I've never listened to a Grande song I liked. They ALL suck. And it's not me hating on pop. I do enjoy the occasional popcuntsiclesick. But Ariana's just lame.

    She has one of the most generic voices ever. Nothing special, autotuned naturally... and the lyrics are generic pop drivel and every radio station is overplaying her songs.

    I hate how nowadays you don't even need proper talent to become a singer.
    It's all selfies, instagram, tweets and other garbage and no real effort to making good music.

    In the days of yesteryear lyrics had meaning, singers also played an instrument, autotune wasn't even invented and real instruments were used to make the melody of the song, not "Modern beat 1" and "Rap beat 2" from Fruityloops. Needless to say, I don't listen to, or like Ariana Grande.

      There still are some nice artists out there, I really like NF for example( well he’s known for one song especially but the ones where there’s only him rapping are the best) and faith Marie is very talented. Actually twenty one pilots has some nice lyrics and three days grace and a lot more hidden behind em big celebrities
      In the 2000s and such people would probably get angry about the evolve they of music too, I mean some classics from that time were lyric wise absolute garbage
      But yeah especially the thing with being big on social media and then being big in the world annoys me and the weird flexing rappers
      The general population doesn’t go that deep sadly
      People want to be entertained and not put effort into that entertainment again. I think in China they put a lot of Wort into that, it’s pretty grotesque.

    I’ve never really cared much for her on top of that if the radio is ever on a pop station it feels constant to play her another song after another one. It’s like she comes out with a new one each day and they ain’t even good.
