OMG, absolutely. The upper AND lower body strength it must take to remain in your chair, while your fingers flit across the keys must be super human. Worthy of at least 6 hours a day in the gym just like any other athlete.
I'm not sure you could really get the proper benefit from the gym without a personal trainer to get you working on the specific muscle groups, though. So fork out the big bucks and get yourself in fantastic shape, so you can sit in your room alone and spend all your free time relating to synthetic characters, living synthetic lives.
I'm a video game enthusiast, and play video games competitively, but I still go out to the gym, do boxing and go running with my brother. You just can't get "fit" playing video games.
Playing games doesn't count as physical exercise, it's actually counter productive. I'm an enthusiastic video gamer and I workout at the gym.
It is normal for a gamer to be healthy but the act of playing doesn't help your physical health. Some people have said that it can help your mental health though.
Absolutely. I watched a documentary one time on Malcolm X, now Im black.
Completely normal mate...i play alot of FiFa 2015 and i'm fit.
.....cos i also get my ass of the chair and play and train for rugby.
No, sorry. It doesn't work that way. It's just tour hands getting exercise. If that were true, you wouldnt see any out of shape gamers. Although hand eye coordination could improve and you may be better at hitting targets. But it wont teach you to do a backflip.
