Are parents going to react badly to this? I only want to give candy to kids in our neighborhood. Honestly it's probably a bad idea but how do I keep away the poor kids who come to our neighborhood to take advantage, cause trouble and vandalize our property?
Wealth and status don’t determine if someone is going to cause trouble... also, are you saying that you don’t want to give underprivileged children a little joy on Halloween? That seems pretty stuck up and ridiculous. A bag of candy is not that expensive, just buy an extra one and give some out to everyone (yes, even the poor kids). Also, no kids carry ID with them, especially when they are wearing costumes that most likely don’t have pockets. But if you are too good to give candy to people less fortunate than you, feel free to check 8 year olds IDs.
Rich kids cause trouble too. Sometime even more so than "poor" kids. Rich kids just get away with it.
Don't be a douchebag. The poor kids are probably the ones who will appreciate it most and who need it most. Also, rich/middle class kids can also be really destructive
Where do you live. I totally want to go to your house and put up a sign saying what you want to do. If you house is still standing by the end of the night it would be a miracle you jerk.
I hope u loose all your money and your kids get IDd and get no candy then you can explain to them why some people are such cunts
