Do you find it annoying when people talk about the same topic repeatedly, especially when discussing it won't produce any positive results, and everyone else is sick of hearing about it? Beating a dead horse won't get you anywhere.

Yes, especially when their complaints serve no purpose and nothing you or anyone else says to that person produces any results. Some people don't just beat the dead horse; they run out to the track after it's dead, cut it open, hollow it out, and try to wear it like a suit across the finishing line while everyone watches in disgust.
It depends on who it is and what he or she is going on and on about of course.

I'm the one who always beats the dead horse. I try so hard to listen to others, but it's like they have to repeat their advice over and over, and even then it usually takes me several days/weeks/months to fully process what they've said until I have an epiphany and understand it.
Now that I think about it, it's kind of like that joke about the blonde who laughs at the punchline way after everyone else. (For the record, I actually am a natural blonde...)
I'm pretty stubborn myself and though it can be annoying to me depending on the topic I usually just bear it; it doesn't bother me too much.
