Being called a liar?

I was called a liar by my teacher who had no solid proof, only stupid assumptions. I try to explain to her that I wasn't lying, I never gave her a motive for her not to believe me. Is it normal for a teacher to call a student a liar? Since then I have ignored her, am I right for doing so?

You should say "well YOU always tell the TRUTH", and then you'll have created a paradox and her head will explode.

one time in grade school one of my teachers said that she trusted me to get an assignment turned in, so i worked all night to finish it even though i had a lot of trouble with it, and tried to make sure the answers were right. i got it finished, but forgot to turn it in. the teacher later asked if someone would do something for her and me and this other boy said we would, but she said i'll let him do it, i don't trust you.

Normal. Teachers always think they're right and the student is wrong.
