Soo, thère are forums for everything and that combines the knowledge of people all over the world wich is a lot more than silly me has up my hat. But one tip to start. Safety. Fire is dangerous shit and the stuff used in fireworks is even nastier. Soo my personal guideline. Before you something. Take a step back and ask yourself what could possibly go wrong. If you dont know then dont. If you do know and think the risks are small enough to be responsible then ROCK AND ROLL BABY,

    1. Don't ask advice on a website that is not specific to your field.
    2. Don't ask advice on a website, learn from people you know have actual qualifications.
    3. Always fire stuff AT your head, because you're stupid enough to not know points 1&2 without being told.

Gasoline doesn't really burn; gasoline fumes are what ignite...

They sure do. I had to have my wiring harness redone after a fuel fume fire in my old vw. That's my story.

Only you can prevent forest fires. Don't fucking play with matches, and if you still feel that need to be a pyrotech...watch that concert fire video (seriously traumatizing) and never forget how dangerous fire is and how quickly it can go wrong. Safety first...

Making your own fireworks? Don't breathe in too much of that stinky sulphur if you are asthmatic.
Don't make your own gunpowder because the stupid fucking cunt arse firework won't even lift 50cm off the ground and you stand outside in the fucking cold for four hours accomplishing nothing and feeling like a dumbass

Don't work with more chemicals at one time than you're willing to have blow up in your face.

If you smoke, quit. Don't even have a lighter in your pocket; I had one fall out of my pocket last month and blow up, in a restaurant. Big noise.
If you drink alcohol or do drugs, do not do either when messing about with pyrotechnics.
