boyfriend acts like he cares one minute, and then for some reason the next he’ll act like he doesn’t care or show affection to me at all. he says he’s fine but i don’t know. is this normal? i don’t know why and whenever i ask he says he’s fine.... idk. any advice on what i should do? idk if it’s manipulation or what
It’s manipulation but to be fair to him, pretending to care does get fucking exhausting. Most people’s feelings aren’t as strong as they pretend they are, you’ll just have to deal with that.
How to keep a man happy is keeping his stomach full and balls drained. Are you doing this? if not its your problem.
If I were you I would talk to him about this stuff. If he is in denial, or gives you attitude, and tells you to mind your business then leave him. This could be a manipulation tactic of a narcissistic abuser, but it could also mean that he's dealing with a mood disorder. Is he bipolar?
What does your boyfriend do often, show affection or doesn’t show affection? Because if he is usually distant and only shows affection when he thinks he needs too, then he’s manipulating you and only giving it to make you happy. But if he usually shows affection and sometimes is distant, then maybe he does that when he feels a type of way about something.
he seems to do it at random times or when he’s under stress... but it’s annoying.
Then talk to him about it. There is a reason why he does that, try till find out why and talk about other ways for him to cope with whatever makes him act like that. And if he doesn’t even try or dismisses you, then you should rethink your relationship and if you really want to deal with his shit
