Years ago I was working in the shipyards. We were asked to ride the ship to the ocean so we could finish the jobs. For 3 long days of work it was around $850. Part of it was the overtime until we got off the ship and we were getting paid until we got back to the yards and that included the 2 1/2 drive back to the shipyard. It was a nice payday.
