Blackmailing craigslist scammers

I have a really good idea. I've been searching for rental houses and most the ones on craigslist are scams. They go as far as to give you their phone number and email and talk to you on the phone.

Now I suspect they use throw away phones, so I am not sure yet how to track who they are of if I can. This is just an idea so far.

It would be easy to record their voice to confirm who they are if I find out. If possible I would get their real information and track them and contact them at their real house.

I would then black mail them to send money to an anonymous address or report them to the government.
