The other night I had a really fucking weird dream.

In the dream, I enter the office level of a casino. The super rich casino boss puts a VHS tape on the desk and says 'Here's the tape but first I need the money.' I put a stack of money on the desk and he hands me the tape. I go into his private cinema by myself.

I look on the side of the tape and it reads 'The Simpsons "Bart Simpson, Crush" Secret Episode.' I put it into the VHS player and this "secret episode" begins with Bart feeling himself on his bed, trying to think of some of the girls at school but can only think of Martin. Bart hates this but he realises that he has some really deep feelings towards Martin.

On Monday there is a speech competition at Springfield Elementary. Martin is giving a speech but Bart doesn't care about what his speech is about, he only sees Martin as cute and petite.

Bart starts to stress about how he could never express his feelings at a time where being gay wasn't as widely accepted as today and can't stop worrying about what people would do to him if they found out about these feelings.

Then I woke up like '...wtf just happened?'

It was very odd, please don't be afraid to share your thoughts on this one.

I once had a weird sexual dream about a robot woman. And no, I'm NOT into robots at all. Then when me and this robot lady were doing stuff this tiger comes out and starts chasing me and I have to hop a fence. Or maybe they were two different dreams right after each other? I'm not sure but I died for sure so good dream.

First, isn't it strange how when we dream of cartoons, they are never real funny but either scary as hell or at least very serious? So yeah, having a dream like that is normal. I am guessing it was quite vivid?

Second, typically in dreams we are not able to read text, unless it is a logo we saw in real life. So I am wondering, were you able to read the label on the tape or did you just "know" what it said? Serious question.

Third - it would make a good episode but of course this sort of subject doesn't seem to be the tone of the show these days. As this would be a "hot topic" episode, it would certainly be good but today's Simpsons are mainly nonsensical, humorless, pointless bullshit.

I had a dream about the simpsons once but it was a bit darker. The family decided to help Homer lose weight so they locked him in a dark room with no food or much of anything. he was like screaming and freaking out when they put him in there and the family was just standing there looking all serious.

I do not like cartoon dreams. They are not funny at best and disturbing at worst.

  I think I disproved the "can't read text in your dream" thing.
  
  It was harder than normal, because sometimes they were blocked with black, but I read the words "SANTA DID NOT fix rafters" on a paper Christmas plate in my dream this afternoon.
  
  My mom had put sugar on the plate instead of nice cookies for him because she was disappointed.
  
  I also became her and rewrote the words in black marker, as it was written in white.
  
  It was weird because the letters were misplaced, and I was struggling to spell "fix". I don't think I've seen that sentence irl before.

  you can glance at text.
  But if you focus your dream fades.
  Dreams become fun when you become aware that its a dream.
  while youre in it.
  You can literaly do anything.

It's a dream bro, doesn't have to make sense...

I had one last night where I was a sheriff at a Wild west scene... I caught the biggest hustler of the wild west. Some woman. Well, when I say caught, I discovered her, supposedly dead. At her burial I noticed she was faking death and was sent to jail for wanting to shoot her (a sin for wanting to shoot a corpse, or some religious shit)... Then I woke up, fell asleep and the dream continued. I was in my car on my way to Bulgaria and that wild west thing was a dream I had, while taking a rest on a long trip back home... So I went home, the drive felt like an eternity, even if my real drive back home takes a mere 14 hours... but things were off... Wrong buildings were near my apartment, my school was next to my apartment, so was my grandparents house and in my garage there was a Subaru Impreza. Next to the Subaru was an ex of mine... (When I say ex, a girl I had a one night stand back in 12th grade) Told her to move the Subaru, so I can park. Her car wouldn't start, she got out, smirked "Car doesn't start" at me and I replied "I know something that does start" and we did it in her Subaru... Then I looked out the window and saw the beach at a resort, me and my parents used to go for more than 10 years and there on the beach was my mom, who waved at me, but now it seemed like me, the garage, my apartment, my ex and everything was in the sea, nothing made sense and I woke up... Completely meaningless!

It could pass for fanfiction- pretty entertaining. I usually think dreams set in a fictional piece of entertainment are some of the best, and most interesting.

It's a little like getting your own unique, brain generated episode.

Since it's a dream, the show or whatever may take on a surreal and serious theme.

Imo, dreams like that can also have a depressing and empty feel, since there's always that nagging of something being off.

I once had a dream that Kingdom Hearts had a Simpsons level. I had to stop Sideshow Bob and Fat Tony from destroying Springfield. Wound up getting a keyblade that looked like Santa's Little Helper. Sora looked freaking weird in that art style and the whole thing was so dumb. XD
