Breathing weird while listening to music?

When I listen to music with my headphones on, I start breathing really weird. It's like when I can't hear myself breathe, I think I'm breathing too loud and try to breathe quieter and take shorter breaths. Just wondering, does this happen to anyone else?

    Dude i have the same problem. Its very annoying and destroys the music experience for me.

    If I'm wearing headphones and there is a lull in the music I can hear my breath whistling through my sinus cavity, and modify my breathing to make it stop. Not quite the same, but similar?
