Buried alive in a coffin or drifting in outer space?

If you had a choice between the two, would you rather be buried alive in a coffin or be drifting in outer space in a spacesuit? Both ending in death.

Buried alive. 20

Outer space has a nice view. And you might get a movie made out of you :)

outer space...at least then I can just take off the helmet and have a quick death after enjoying the view.

Aw man, I didn't even think about that. It wasn't meant to be that way, lol.

  • Outer space. Hopefully I'd just ascend to a higher plane of existence instead of dying, like in 2001 A Space Odyssey.

If I didn't have a massive phobia outer space (including high res photos), I would choose floating in space. :)

Outer space definitely! Who the hell would want to die in a stuffy dark coffin with pounds and pounds of dirt on you.

If you are going to die, id rather explore outer space than die of starvation. Also at the speed of your orbit and the speed of which u left the space ship, if u hit any other object u would get blown apart because u are alredy going at thousands of miles an hour but from ur perspective and other object flying with u, perspective to earth u are barely moving. once u touch something ur arm blows off extreme pain and then u would b exposed and ud suffer for like a minute of a sort of plosion. Also unless u had materials on u to throw, u wouldnt b able o steer so if u were jsut drifting and there was no hope at all, u would just not want to hit anything unless u just want to get death over with. I would wan a radio tho, so wen i go into the black hole or find martians, or find another planet or see some sort of most epic awesomeness, i can at least report it. Also if im going to die it would b so awesome to see other galaxies.. I would rather explore space for a few days than slowly suffer from a disease and die. But i dunno, getting blown apart and exploding inside out sounds so fucking painful, but only lasts 5 min tops. but it beats a coffin of fear strep throat from yelling, no hope, and starvation... after like a month. sheeit, kool question doc, thanks!!

Outer space because then I would have a chance of being resurrected from cryogenic freeze 500 years later and meeting the beautiful Erin Gray.
(I wonder if anyone will get this reference).

If there was no chance of survival space since i would take off my suit if i had one on and die nearly instantly instead of a somewhat slow death in a coffin...

Being burried alive, you would die from breathing in carbon monoxide, not suffocating, in outterspace, you'd die of the combonation of boredom, starving and thirst, unless you take off the helmet and go through that paiful procedure
