Can a pet be harmed by anesthesia

I took my dog to have her teeth cleaned. She was under GA about 1 to 2 hours. Now it is 2 weeks and my dog is changed for the worse. She is confused and weak and tired all the time. Its like she has no joy anymore. She don't even want to eat that much. She was very active before this. Took her back to the vet to have her checked out and they tell me she is fine. The say they never heard of GA harming a pet this way. I think they might have given her to much GA but they wont say that to me. Just trying to get some answers if any one knows.

Get a second opinion if you can. It is risky and can have adverse reactions with undiagnosed issues. I cried a wee bit when I dropped my dog off to get neutered. I was so nervous about the anesthesia.

Most certainly can. Anastasia hurts even my ears a little when I listen to her sing. So I can only imagine how it must be for, say, a dog with hearing x7 to that of mine.
