Can anybody relate to this gore scenario?

I have an obsession with gore and blood, I love drawing it, watching shows about/related to it and the body anatomy along with it. But sometimes when gore is in the search, holes can be found. I have a fear of holes, it's called TRYPOPHOBIA. It's horrible, I have night terrors if it's really graphic and it always linger in my head after a long time. But with my obsession I cant stop coming back for gore because it fascinates me. I love gore but I don't like they types (trypophobia)

(completely sorry if this was hard to understand, not the best in english)

So you're into gore, but not of the holes that it comes out of?

Holes like honeycomb or Swiss cheese phobia is fairly common. I'm not really afraid but I find it gross.

I have a friend who has an extreme distaste for regularly patterned holes like that. I don't think it's been classified as a "real" phobia yet though.

Also, I think it's less a fear of patterned holes and more of a body horror thing. Anyone would be horrified by a picture of a human with holes in their body. It's different if it's a lotus head or something.

I've had this since I was a kid. It's not debilitating for me or anything, but I've read some interesting things about the origin. It's apparently an archetypical thing related to parasitic skin diseases in ancient populations. The worst part about it is that I can get hives sometimes from seeing something that triggers it, and some of the triggers are surprising.
