I wrote an essay in what I believe makes a good family or what type of qualities makes an ideal family. I wrote down education as one of the categories but my professor didn't think so. He replied on my essay "education is not exactly a topic which comes to mind..." People of the Internet, do you think My professor is right or am I in the wrong?

Yes, although education may be good asset when raising a family it isn't required to have a strong and solid one. There have been countless occurrences where i have meet with wealthy educated people who had terrible families; multiple ex wives, fractured relationships with children, no sort of allegiance to each other whatsoever. Education is a great asset but believe me, i've met many great under-educated families that stuck together through the tough times worked as a team on a daily basis and eventually turned out to be just as if not more successful financially as educated families. Education is a good thing but it can sometimes lead to arrogance and eventually selfishness which is terrible for any family dynamic, people need to learn to balance things, but hey thats just my 2 cents.

Your hypothesis, if followed to it's end would mean uneducated people couldn't have the idea family.
I think it's exactly the opposite. An educated family overthinks their dynamic, which is detrimental to the ideal family. Sometimes, you've just got to accept things as they are and people as they are for the sake of harmony.
Uneducated is great.
