Can i cut and increase muscle mass simultaneously??

I once read an article that says ''Our body stores excess calories in the form of fat. But these stored calories are backup energy sources. So whenever you do an intense workout(specifically weight training) and eat less calories, ur body uses that stored calory AKA fat as an energy source. N u'll eventually lose that fat with time.'' Is this just a myth or truth?? N how can i cut while increasing muscle mass???

Yes your body stores fat and when you have no calories from food it will burn your fat instead.

yeah, but dont go crazy with the calorie cutting, before long, if you keep building, you will have to start putting calories and carbs back in, as an active bodybuilder needs more than the average person. Dont do this with junk food, obviously, there are foods that are high in calories (and carbs), but also contain essential proteins and nutrients.

consult a dietitian, (or maybe a personal trainer) about what kinda diet program would be best for you.
