Can ibuprofen (or tylenol) alleviate my anxiety?
I have mild to moderate anxiety. I don’t have anti-anxiety medications at the moment, I only have ibuprofen and tylenol and I was wondering if they can alleviate my anxiety even just a little bit?

Take valerian root. It is a natural relaxant with a calming effect. It smells like horseshit, but is flavorless. Any drug store has it under the name Valerian. My doctor even took it when she was pregnant. I’ve used it (took 2 capsules) on occasion as a sleep aid, it works.
They'll alleviate your anxiety when you're dead from kidney failure. Don't be silly.
I used to have a prescription for Klonapin, but I haven't found a new psychiatrist here in Delaware. I take Valerian root and Kava Kava. Maybe Benadryl can help you calm down, but I wouldn't take more than two pills of course.
Also Yogi Tea makes some really great herbal teas! Another herbal tea I really like is Tension Tamer by Celestial Seasonings! 😊
No, anti inflammatory medicstion won't help in the least with your anxiety. There are specific medications that work to alleviate that. I recommend meditation and yoga though.
Its a really dumb idea. I would instead try to find some breathing exercises or do some free writing/drawing
I think if you have mild to moderate anxiety, there's probably something that happened to you during your childhood which left you with mental scars that still haven't healed.
I don't know what that may have been, but I think you need to try to tackle that problem head on before you take any pills. Easier said than done, granted.
You're responsible for your own happiness and confidence. Not your doctor, not strangers on the Internet. You.
Exercise is a great cure for anxiety. You'll not only feel better, you'll look better. Start by walking an hour a day and work your way up to cardio and weights. If you have no weights, you can do sit-ups and push-ups. And no, those drugs won't help one bit.
