Can one switch mep stations?

I need to go to MEPs but the recruiter said it would be a month. However there currently no jobs here I can get without a driver license. I only have 900 dollars left and I have a lot of family up North of the state while I live down south. The Meps station I suppose to go to is in the South, can you relocate or am I stuck in Southern"?

Why not call your recruiter and ask? That would be quicker and you'd get a correct answer, and besides, you should be communicating with him/her about potential major changes in your life.

Anyway, I'd think you can because people move all the time, I'm sure you're not the first person to move while enlisting. Call. Your. Recruiter. Jesus...

    What is an MEP station?

      Military Entrance Processing Station

They are inprocessing facilities for the military. Recruits for all branches go to the one that serves their region to complete their enlistment... things such as medical evaluation, testing, choosing an MOS, completing paperwork, taking the oath and shipping out.

I take it up live in a jurisdiction that requires military service?

No, I live in the US and there is roughly 1 MEPS per state (some have more, I think there is like 60-65 total). These stations serve all branches and rather large regions as it would be pretty inefficient to have separate ones for each branch of the military and covering anything less than statewide territory (with exceptions for higher populated areas or large states). Recruiting stations are a different story, they are much more common, this is typically where the initial contact is made and once you pass the most basic steps here then you are sent to MEPS with a bunch of other potential recruits where you get the in-depth 'interview' and begin inprocessing if approved.

Yeah, do what you have to. You're not required legally to show up to MEPS, if you have to go just tell your recruiter and he'll refer you to a guy in your new area. If he's not a dickhead anyway.
