Hi, I've been on this site a while now and I felt like putting my picture on my profile, I always feel it's nice to put a face to a name and a couple of people here know how I look anyway, problemis, site won't let me do it,
I choose a picture and click upload and the page just refreshes with no changes, has anyone had this problem and if you have did you find a way around it?
I has this problem, somewhat. I wanted to upload a different picture of myself from one I previously had up. Every time I done it, it looked like it was successful, however when I refreshed or turned it off and came back later, the picture that I attempted to upload wasn't there, however the previous one was.
I kept on doing it, for some reason it worked and I got the picture I wanted up on my profile, however it was a pain.
I had a problem of it showing a same old pic when i upload a new one, i think clearing cashe worked.

For me it always works, so it's hard to fix...
Any clues would be great. When does it work or not work? What browsers? Mobile vs desktop?
I dont think the mobile works ever, I personally had a few time where it was giving me grief on the desktop, but after a few days tried again and worked

Yeah I'm on a mobile, I've tried uploading a photo on the default browser on a Sony Xperia, opera mini and dolphin browser with no luck,
I feel I should just add that I almost feel a little bad about this post, I don't want it to feel like I'm having a moan as I do love this site
I know nothing about browsers but I use mobile and the lovely charli.m informed me that if you switch to the desktop version on your phone, you can do it there. It works yay! Sometimes it will tell me that a picture is an invalid format but if I keep trying it, it usually works anyway. Then just switch back over to mobile :) sometimes there is a delay with the picture. Like you will see it in your profile but if someone else clicks your profile, the old one may still be there temporarily. Ok thats it I think.
Oh but beware of haunted pictures!!! My gator surfing pelican reappears when it wants to after I change it. Spooookkyyyyyy...or just a glitch. (I just touched the managements butt...don't tell him)
Yep I had this problem to start with, then the site decided it loved me and it uploaded. Then when I came to change it, it swapped between the old picture and the new one :/ but now it's okay! :D
