Well according to the Bible being gay is a sin. But being a drunkard is also a sin. So if an alcoholic can be a Christian, why can't a homosexual?

Homosexuality is a sin, just like lying is a sin, and killing is a sin, and cursing God is a sin. There's NO difference. Some people just bend towards a particular sin. Homosexuality is the sin that that person bends toward.

Yes, I know. But if you're looking at things from that perspective, then ALL the good people in the world who are willing to help others and be there for them, are christians! I mentioned praying and the mass and all that because those are things everyone can do if they want and they are, let's say, characteristics of a christian person. Of course you can be a psychopath and also go to mass and that wont make you a christian. What matters here is that you can be a good person if you want and being gay or straight doesnt really matter for your religion!

You can be a Christian and gay because being gay is a sin and as a Christian you are forgiven for your sins if you repent (accept that Jesus as God died for your sin and you are sorry for your sins). At that point you will find that you have a relationship with God through Jesus and through your love for God and his love for you, you will work together on your sin to be the best Christian YOU can possibly be in this life until you are made whole and perfect again in heaven.

People are born with the propensity for millions of types of sin and being gay is just one of them. A person with obesity in their genes or a child raised by rich assholes could be born with a higher chance of gluttony. A person born poor into a family of gangbangers might have a higher propensity to steal. A person born into a goody two-shoes Christian family might have a higher propensity to be judgemental and use the bible to tear people down instead of build them up.
I'm not sure why you are so fixated with the sin and who's doing what, when the message is about forgiveness and being accepted by God. I could give two shits about being accepted by my fellow Christians because they are not God. In the end every single person will have some sin they couldn't fix in their life. Regardless of the size of the sin whether it is murder or swearing you just have to admit it wasn't right and be sorry.
You can whine and cry if that's your style or just say sorry, regardless of what you do God will know what's in your heart when you say it.
As far as Christian murderers that I never met. Judgement on those people's murder and their repentance for it is God's call. The reason I am Christian is because I believe God is a fair judge that unlike us broken humans, will look in your heart more than he will look at the law to determine your fate.

i'm not going to be as pompous to say that that god does or does not exist, but only that the story book that describes your god is completely bullshit.

my argument is that maybe adam and eve existed but they certainly were not the first humans in the garden of eden. that's retardedly ridiculous.
my hypothesis is that pre-humans evolved primarily in Africa and many inter-bred leading to three(proven perhaps more) strings of humans. the Homosapien, the Neanderthals, and the other string of humans I forget the name of but read about in a national geographic a few months ago.
you see the other species of humans moved north and east from Africa and all inter-bred. but the Homosepien expanded faster and inter-bred with all the other species turning the whole human race into homosepiens. (the great fuckening.)
