How can you touch your brain without surgery?
I have no desire to be able to physically touch my brain (the thought freaks me out), but I do have some control over my thinking. Obviously, certain thoughts just come along unprovoked, but I do have a choice to continue to think about it or to focus on something else. I have a choice on whether I'm going to let certain things rule me, or if I'm going to be in control of my own thoughts. Of course, this is much easier said than done and some days are worse than others, but for the most part, I've learned that for the most part, we have more control over our thoughts and lives than we think, and just need to learn to exercise that control.
The cool part is that you have no pain receptors in your brain, something that would be redundant in the most important part of your body that you are already instinctually wired to protect.
The freaky thing for brain surgery is they cant put you out for it. Not because it cant be done, but because the surgeons have to be sure you dont suddenly taste purple or you losing ability to do tasks since they are rooting around in what can only be your literal self.
I'm pretty sure they give you drugs so you forget the whole thing. They give you the stuff before, they do the surgery. You suddenly forget how you got into the recovery bed.
Right through your nose theres only a small bit of bone. You can shove a pencil up there with a minimal amount of force.
Great way to give yourself in impromptu lobotomy or instant death.
