Can you get a hernia from a fall?

I fell in the snow a few days ago, initially my neck and back we're sore but I feel like something in my stomach / chest shifted. My chest feels tight when I cough. It's hard to explain but I'm wondering if that could cause a hernia. I feel bloated and almost as if my stomach muscles got twisted. Anyway can doctors really tell if you have a hernia I hear they are difficult to diagnose so.., good old is it normal users?

I don't know if a fall can cause that. I've never heard of that happening. I once had a hernia as a child. My muscles were very loose and made my intestine go out of position.

If the streets are cleared, you should call up your doctor and ask for an appointment. Good luck.

Never underestimate a fall. Even a soft fall.
I once got coccydynia from a fall.

So it could be that 'something shifted'. You know your body better than we do, so if you think something is wrong, best get it checked out

You are asking us to diagnose something without seeing you that you think is difficult for a doctor looking at you to diagnose?
OK then, yep you have a hernia.
    Happy now?
