Can you live without it? How easily could you leave?
There are many users here who seem to really *need* the site and would be devastated if it were to close down or if they had to leave for whatever reason.
Why do you need it? Are you dependant on these interactions? If so please share. Make sure you start your sharing with: My name is _______ and I am a IINormaholic.

I mean, this is basically just Reddit on a much smaller scale. I have a feeling the appeal for many is that you recognize names.
I'm actually considering at what point do I move on...
I decided to try this site and see how it went. It's interesting and has allowed me to write about some things I probably needed to get off my chest. But, I'm not dependent on this site and it does not fill a real need in my life.
The question I have been asking myself in the last few weeks is my time and efforts here worth it, or are they better invested elsewhere. I'll likely think on that for another month or so for now. No need for me to make a hasty decision.
If it makes any difference, your comments are always informative and refreshing to read! I definitely understand that it can be time consuming and prevent you from doing other things too, though.

I could leave this site, but I don't want to. It has an unexpected nostalgia factor for me. I first found this site as a teenager, now I'm in my late 20s. After life dealt me the foulest of hands, multiple times over, I was surprised to find that this website was still active. I could leave this site behind if it suddenly disappeared, but that would really fucking suck for a lot of reasons. So yeah, I COULD leave this site I guess, but why would I want to? I like this site.
I could leave but I occasionally pop in every so often to ask for advice about my crumbling life... I have too many problems right now. I can not deal with people.
I had a phase of being addicted to this site and to certain Youtubers earlier this year, my life was in such a mess that it was a welcome respite. Life’s picked up a bit recently but as I said before I’ll continue to return until the site dies or I do.
I enjoy this site, especially since it's a smaller community. Of course I could live without it, but I would be sad if it shut down.
I'd be sad to see it go, but life goes on. I've had quite a few sites I enjoyed frequenting shut down on me, and although I don't like it because the available alternatives usually aren't that great, hence why I used those sites instead in the first place, I just have to deal with it.
Speaking of sites shutting down, I really hate that Quora and Reddit seem to be the only replacements for Yahoo! Answers (despite it having been dead for awhile and troll-infested its entire existence, there were not a million ridiculous "rules" and hoops to jump through like with most subs on Reddit, and it was much more pleasant to use than Quora, plus you didn't have to use your real name). I also hate that forums/message boards are being replaced with Facebook groups (there are all sorts of things wrong with most FB groups; it's pathetic how many of the admins/mods in those go on such a control freak power trip over a freaking online page). I digress.
I used to be in a Facebook group that banned “clicking on other members’ profiles”, if you’re active on Facebook and you think no-one is looking at your profile you’re delusional.
How do they even know if someone has clicked on their profile? As far as I know, they don't issue notifications for that. Seems like a very weird rule to have, though!
They have no way of knowing so it’s a completely pointless rule. I’ve seen people get into comment wars in some groups and post screenshots of unsavoury statuses and trashy photos from their opponents’ profiles to further their cause, so perhaps they wanted to avoid that. I’m of the opinion that people should just use privacy settings or better yet think twice before posting certain aspects of their lives online.
I did once see someone roasting a stranger’s wedding photos and husband’s appearance though, I will admit I think that crossed a line.
I only just came back to this website after leaving 2 Years and looked back at my older posts which is very cringey. But yes, I can leave this site if I get bored again.
I come to this site every night before i go to sleep. Its a part of my routine. Some nights theres great and interesting questions, some nights theres absurd questions of either sexual or bodily fluid natures, other nights its just dead boring on the site.
I first came to this site when i was about 16 back in 2009ish asking a question about whether it was normal how affectionate and attached my little brother was to me. Cant remember if anyone actually helped or not. I came back about 3 years ago to ask another question but i dont remember what and ive stayed since. Ive found solace in this website and i would reaaally miss it if it stopped :c
