I can, but the amount of crap in some pools... All over my eyeballs... Worrying.

  • depends, rivers are soothing and fresh and dont hurt the eyes, chlorinated pools hurt and sea water well i dont want to look under there, sharks and rays

The other day, while taking a casual stroll on the ocean, I tried to put my head under water to see if I can open my eyes.
My face hit that ocean like bird poop hits the concrete.
Then I passed out and woke up with shaving cream all over my face.

Usually in pools, natural bodies of water. Did it once in a bubble bath too, once and never again.

I never tried and have no desire to do so.

I can't open my eyes in Sea-water or clear water in the tub. I can only open my eyes fully and for a long time in water with chlorine.

I can open my eyes underwater and I don't feel a thing, either while they're open or afterwards. It's weird cause I feel like it should hurt and lots of people tell me that it does for them....

I can, but I prefer goggles. I don't want to get other peoples' pee in my eyes.

I can, but I wear contacts in the water (I really can't see without them) so I don't usually open my eyes.. I don't want to lose them (even though they are daily disposables!)

i can,but dont do it in chlorinated pools for too long or the color white is going to hurt your eyes for several hours

I wear contacts, so yeah, as the Chlorine doesn't sting because the contacts protect my eyes. Skills yay xP

seawater and rivers, i cant see a thing but pools are a lot clearer so i can open my eyes but not for long periods of time.

As long as I am not at some ghetto pool where they have to triple the clorine in the water to compensate for the filth. I have a horrible phobia of fish so oceans and lakes are out the question. It pretty much ruined my Sr. trip to the Nahamas. ah wel...

  • I can, but they hurt and everything is blurred, can't see for shit (even when I didn't need glasses).
