Can you sense when someone is into you?

I have two guys I’m into. I don’t really flirt but I try to chat or show a little interest. I’m afraid of coming off as desperate but don’t think I am; other than showing a good amount of eye contact. But mostly it’s a fear of rejection and the potential embarrassment/awkwardness. I’m equally afraid to hit on/flirt as I am to directly ask out on a date. I’m gay so there’s always a whole extra step involving in him being potentially straight.

Do you think they can sense my intents or feelings though? Are most people able to pickup on that? If that’s the case maybe I should just shoot my shot. Maybe they’re waiting for me to get over with it already.

    I generally ignore it when I think someone is into me, because relationships always seem to lead to drama so...

    Yeah, often you can sense those things though it's common to assume you're just imagining it. Go for it

      I did! He said he’s straight. But it wasn’t awkward and I feel better knowing now. Also, I feel things would be comfortable between us after.

    If they arent gay I wouldnt go for it. Only do it if theyre gay.
