I've always heard that you can't tickle yourself, but I can!!

I was wondering if anyone else can!

    There are 2 kinds of tickling, knismesis and gargalesis. Knismesis is the light stroking kind of tickling and yes many people (myself included) can do this to themselves. Gargalesis is the deep pressure kind of tickling like when someone grabs your ribs. You can't do this to yourself.

    I mean you can kinda like do light touches or drag your nails down yourself and it kind of tickles, but it's not really the same.

    It depends. I can't tickle myself like you would tickle someone else...

    But if you brush the tips of your fingers against your sides and around the pelvis region really lightly you can create a "ticklish" sensation. That's as close as I've ever gotten to tickling myself. xD
