Career to go for

I have no idea what career I should be striving for.

My initial plan was to become a pharmacist, but the classes are too expensive and I'm not sure how the job market will be by the time I graduate.

Becoming a physical therapist, on the other hand, means I won't be in as much debt. In the state I live in the salary is just a bit below the average.

Anyone have any suggestions?
I'm in the process of becoming a volunteer to see what the job will be like, but I don't even know which to try out for.

There was a time when pharmacists were in such great demand that the big companies would pay for your education and entry level was 100k+. Not any more.
I don't understand how anyone could enjoy handling strangers' bodies for a living, but that's just me, I guess.
I think you need to spend some serious time on your computer researching this and make the decision from what you glean. I've not heard of a single job that I'd train for, that will still be in demand in a few years. With the fracking boom, even renewable energy is no longer the hot ticket, sorry.
