Cat digging to china?

After my cat poops he stands there and digs...and digs...and digs...in the litter for the longest time. He's not even burying his turd. He's just digging. And digging. And digging. Digging his way to China it seems like.

    Yea some cats do that. Ugh I hate litter boxes so much. They need to invent a new place for a cat to pee. My cat always makes a mess and litter goes every where because he does that similar digging thing as well when he covers his poop up.

    If you do a bit of searching on the net, I believe this may be related to a deficiency in it's diet or something else. I seem to remember, though to be honest I''m not at all sure, that I read that one of those plants meant for cats to eat may help.
    Anyway, see what you can find on the web. I don't think it's really serious, though.
