Somehow I figured out that my cat likes to eat earwax. Human earwax. It basically goes along that I will stick my finger in my ear and wiggle it around (yes, its a bit disgusting) and then pull it out with some amount of earwax on it, I hold said earwax finger out to the cat and licks away at it until all the earwax is gone.
Is it normal to feed my cat earwax?
Yes my cat was exactally the same, she loved it.
She's dead now, but I don't think it was related to this.
Studies have shown that cats who are fed a larger amount of human earwax are more likely to grow large and show more loyalty whilst displaying more of the characteristics of a jungle cat. So keep feeding he cat earwax!!! :)
Hahaha my cat loves it too! I thought it was pretty weird but I guess it's normal. Weird can be normal lol.
W0W. I've had cats all my life and never noticed that but maybe that's because I never tried feeding my cat earwax.
my cat goes CRAZY as soon as your finger goes anywhere near your ear, she will reach up and try and pull your finger down if it's too high and everything. It's because it has proteins and fatty acids in, cats know it is very good for them because they smell the nutrients. Unlike humans they cannot taste very well, so they will risk almost any disgusting taste for nutrition
People this isn't animal abuse. Animals will eat their own crap, I doubt earwax is as bad as that stuff is. I'd still ask the vet about it, if it's enough of a concern.
HAHAHA. I totally do this too. I always let my cat at my Q-tips before I toss them. When he sees me reach for the box he starts purring really loud and tries climbing up my leg.

Well,I had a cat that made me allergic but I never and ever made that with my cat like the anonymous comment weird... and ANIMAL ABUSE!!!
Ahhaa, awsomee :) My cat eats anything, I have never given earwax to him thoughh =P I dont see the harm in it I mean lots of PEOPLE eat it to, so whats the harm? =) :o)
dude, wtf? i just want to know what you meant when you said that you "somehow" figured out your cat likes to eat earwax. in what scenario do you feed a cat human earwax, and realize that it specifically enjoys HUMAN earwax?
