Chicken better with skin?

I always buy chicken with the skin because I find it just damn well tastes better than the skinless chicken breasts. Also skinless is usually just breasts, but with the packs with the skin still on the bone, it's usually breasts, thighs, and legs, so you get both dark and light meat. I've never even seen skinless chicken thighs, wings, or legs. Also, I think the chicken still on the bone with skin is still in its more natural state, when they debone and skin it, I believe they also add fillers and crap to it. Anyway, check the box of which y'all prefer

I buy breast and thighs skinless, but drumsticks and whole chickens with skin on. If you're a good cook, you can cook it and still retain the flavour and moisture.

It's cool. While I'm responding to you, if you ever get the chance, but a pack of chicken, with skin, and buy a bottle of Thai peanut sauce and mix it with the chicken with some vegetables like carrots, onions, green beans, or peas. Can add a little rice too, or noodles, it's really good either way

        • I gave up on skinless chicken (with the exception of chicken parm) about a year ago because it is absolutely flavorless no matter how much salt and pepper you dump on it - you can’t beat skin on bone in for flavor (it’s also easier to cook and not dry out imo). I regularly oven roast rib in breasts or use the rotisserie grill attachment for whole birds.
I will try your recipe, sounds tasty.

It is, it's very good. And it's true when they debone and skin the chicken breasts, they add fillers and some of the natural flavor is gone, the chicken I'm sure loses some of its natural juices when they're doing all that. Skinless breasts became the thing for a while for the health conscious back when animal fat was thought to be a big cause for heart disease, and that was before they learned that animal fat isn't the problem, it's transfats and bad carbs.
