I don't see how it's that much different from, say, keeping a parrot or other type of bird in one's room. So yea, I'd say it's normal. Apparently my uncle used to keep a fair amount of fowls in his room when he was a lad. Just be aware of the potential for sicknesses and such.

I'm looking at some of the bird diapers I have and I'm laughing. Some of them do look like like mini sex devices. lol
