Took my family to a kids easter egg hunt this morning and I saw a few 9yo kids who were super morbidly obese. They couldnt run on the playground and the entire time they were eating candy and drinking coke. I looked over at their family and their bellies were almost dragging on the ground as they waddled around.

Why is this not considered child abuse? If your kids are getting fat you should not allow them to eat so much sugar and drink coke. I feel the parents should get in legal trouble. Why do they complain about non issues in the media all day but allow ppl to abuse kids like this? If it was up to me news channel5 would be shoving cameras in these parents faces asking them why their 9yo weighs 250lbs. Publically shame these ppl.

    I believe japan has a law that forbids obesity if I recall correctly

    We shouldnt allow ppl to abuse children. Thats not what the founding fathers had in mind. Theyre subjecting them to a lifetime of heart disease and I believe that is child abuse and their freedom should be revoked and they placed in a jail cell.

        But do you care about children's feelings? Do you care about destroying a family and taking children away from their parents that they love?

          Just like I dont think parents should be allowed to give their kids cigarettes or drugs they shouldnt be allowed to poison their children. Its a form of child abuse and they should be publically shamed and have legal consequences.

    Yeah this kid was insanely fat. I dont know if it was really 250lbs but she was heavy enough where if she was in her 30s she would have trouble walking.

    Id love to listen to parents try to defend giving a 250lb 9yo candy and coke. Its utterly ridiculous and you are condemning that child to a lifespan of about 45. The kid will be in one of those scooters by highschool.
