Cockroaches in my grandma's diapers

My grandma lives with us and due to fecal incontinence lies in bed most of the time. We change and bathe her twice a week and recently discovered small cockroaches in her diapers. Is this normal when caring for the bedridden elderly?

    Maybe your Grammy has crossed the rainbow bridge and the roaches are feeding off her carcass.
    Just a thought.

    Very common, and super ok. To help the decomposing process reduce bathing to once every 2 weeks or whenever you can't take the smell any more. This can also be alleviated by opening a window and keeping the door closed. Good luck!

      Guys. She's not dead. She screams whenever we tear her from the dry, diarrhea soaked bed sheets (her skin peels off, it's like super glue). Don't be so morbid.
