College made me poor. iin?

Check your fine print reading skills. Although I'm not sure how you weren't aware of this going into it. I though everyone knew that college students were poor and then have a mountain of debt when they leave. There are exceptions, but you would know if you paid for it along the way.

Yes, obviously that can happen. If you go to a university or private school then you're gonna end up paying more than you need to. Community colleges are cheaper and more affordable, but work towards something where more jobs will be available and you will have the job security in the future. There are no guarantees, but that's the way to go.

I'm surprised that you're just figuring this out now. Unfortunately, in the U.S. you don't get a free college education.
Now, maybe I'm being too hard on you though. Are you from Europe?

Have you been in a cocoon for the last ten years? EVERYBODY else has known about the massive debt that college grads had upon graduation, except you it seems. Debt with few employment possibilities. It has been on the news, talked about by every student and teacher and even discussed openly in congress.
I fear you have wasted your time getting a college education, because if you are truly surprised by your current situation, you most likely are unemployable.
