Connection to my cat.

One day last summer my Mom brought home a calico kitten named Lilly. I developed a strong bond with her. When she had her kittens, I was the first person she came to,to show where they were. I understood her very well. When i had a problem, i told her, and not anyone else. we lived on a farmhouse at the time.she loved it there. when we moved she ran away. i have dreams about her every night, and feel lost without her. Is this Normal?

She would eat you if you were small enough.

  • next time if u move with a cat put butter on its paws , so it hangs around long enough to lick it off, then it knows the place

Totally understandable how you feel. I've gotten so attatched to all my pets. I consider them family and I'd be very sad if I lost any of them.

Oh.. your story reminds me of my beloved cat Marten. He was very attached to me that I even defended him from my angry sister when he killed her hamster pet Harry. Well he ran away and for many years I have waited for him to come back but it never happened. It came to my thought that maybe he ran away so I wouldn't know he was ill and wishes not to see him dying.
So just think of some ways to accept that your cat may have ran away on purpose.

O.P., it is normal for you to feel sad about the loss of your cat. Especially since you were so close and attached to it.

Maybe some day you could get another cat though?

What a bittersweet story! I also have a strong attachment to my cat and I know that when she dies (I'm almost 99% positive that she won't run away), I will not be able to stop thinking or dreaming about her.

did you know cats suck the souls out of human infants and drag them
down to hell from whence they came? (they being the cats, not the infants)
