Counter stalking a stalker

So my fwb shes (39) has been harrassed by a stalker hes (34) is while already submitted a report to the police it hasn't changed his advancements. So in a bout of being bored I shifted through his public information looked for family members and informed the stalkers father about his stalking activities. Found a news report later on that he battered his own son to near death, what a coincidence!

Obviously this isnt something a normal person does in their free time but is it morally ok to go taddle on an adults parents?

By stalking he kept following her and sending weird shit like this to her:

I lost my head again would you lie for me?
I left her in the sand just a burden in my hand
I lost my head again would you cry for me

Just a burden in my hand
Just an anchor on my heart
Just a tumor in my head
And I'm in the dark

I know it's from Soundgarden but still its fucking creepy.

    First and foremost you're a sentient being brought into this world. Protect what's yours and what you care about. Knowledge is power. You were being proactive about safety. Know thy enemy.

    It was smart to find out about him, his history. His dad my contact him now, which may make him think it's dangerous and back off, or provoke reaction. Either way though you know about him and he doesn't know you, right, or her address? Just her Facebook or cell number?

    Try to issue a restraining order if you can. That'll make it easier for you if the cops have to show up. Have her check in with people to let them know she's safe. She should probably drop all contact.

    I currently want to be some psychology expert or something and work with detectives or FBI agents, if you can tell :P

      Why thank you. Tbh I did not feel like I was in a position to physically help her out through intimidation. I'm not a fighter, I'm a person who will find your weakness and nearly everyone is terrified to have thier parents disapproval (or in this case have a beat down)
