Countering memories of racism with racism. iin?

A lot of the time, I keep recalling memories of racist things said against my ethnicity, and unfortunately, they keep replaying in my thoughts and intruding. I keep trying to counter these thoughts by recalling racist statements said against other ethnicities (usually the one of the perpetrator) that I have seen. For some reason, it makes me feel better not because I view any ethnicity as inferior to mine, but because it gives me comfort knowing that my ethnicity is not the only one who gets discrimination like this. But then I feel guilty because I took comfort in racism against others.

Would you say it's normal to be in this situation?

That is pointless you should direct it towards the single person. Not the entire group.

Are you a Jewish Phillipino Mexican Lesbian who hates Mongolians?

'Cause I am. It's pretty common really.

It's a normal reaction. Not the best or healthiest, but very human. It's like a bullied kid guiltily taking pleasure in seeing someone else get picked on.
