Hey!
So I like really like country music, but I've found out that most people, well most people here anyway, don't like country music! Can i ask why? What are you thoughts on country music?
I don't get the dislike about it, its a beautiful sound. So who here likes it??????
I like old county. And there are some new songs I like. But most new country is the same thing as old rock and roll. We're talking 1950's. Their is nothing bad about that. It's just not country.

Not sure. Taylor Swift? Was country, soooo I'll bring that up. Hasn't country morphed into mainstream? Deep down, some people say they don't like country because they have misconceptions about the South and southern culture which they associate with country music which they don't want to be associated with. But, press further. You'll find out that such people PROBABLY secretly have a country genre song they like. Maybe. Not always. But, maybe.
Not sure where you're located. I use to be all like, uh, no, don't like country. Not anymore. I am into all genres of music. I get bored, need variety.

Honestly, I don't like country music. I cringe whenever I listen to it. No offense.
It's a bit hit or miss really. There seems to be many a style of country music out there and not every type of it will float everyone's boat.
For me a small portion of it is okay but the vast majority of the music i have heard that falls under the 'country' umbrella term for music a good 70-80 percent of it i dont like but some of it's good.
Like anything it's pretty hit or miss really.
There's good and bad in all genres of music.
Regarding country I love lots by Johnny Cash and Hank Williams, but hate schmaltz like Dwight Yoakim.
Country is the best! But to me some of the new country cant live up to the country gold of the 80s and 90s, i mean come on dixie chicks and alan jackson are the best
