Coworker complains and whines if i don’t talk to him

My coworker and I used to talk semi often but I secretly can’t fucking stand talking to him. I am actually usually a very quiet independent person, I’ve even told him this, but still whenever I’m quiet like I’d like to be he acts super passive aggressive and rude towards me as if I’ve changed or am acting cold. I’ve been more quiet the past few days but all day today he’s been trying to pick fights with me asking me angrily “what’s you’re problem?!!” “Why do you hate me!!!” I honestly hate talking to him so much I’m thinking about quitting. I’m a cook with him at a restaraunt. He’s offended because he’s told me things he’s never told anybody else. (And I guess that made him feel closer to me?) But we’re not close and that’s only happened because he’ll randomly come up to me and tell me something personal and cry about it. I never asked for this.

He sounds crazy. Can you ask your boss to change his shifts or something?

Or maybe put in a formal complaint to say that he's harassing you and making you feel uncomfortable. I know it sounds very pen-pushery but your employer has to take notice of these sorts of complaints or they can get into trouble.

Talk to your supervisor about this bullshit. I'm sorry you are having this problem, I truly am.

Be stern maybe and tell him straight. Unless he's crazy or something. Then speak to your boss.

Sounds like he's being girly as hell. Don't talk to him anymore. He's just drama. Just tell him to leave you alone. Eventually he will quit pouting.

That and being a horn dawg are synonyms in my book. Just because a guy is horny does not mean he is a horn dawg. The dawg part has a negative connotation with reference to his lack of self control and proper behavior.
