Date put a coaster over my drink

People do it to say “I’m coming back for this drink. I have not left”. Or my bar is rampant with fruit flies so I put them over peoples beer.

Never leave a drink unattended unless you want a stranger to rape you or worse. It's not guaranteed but it does happen. When you do that you are litterly flipping a coin in the air and tempting the fates to add some red to your life. Just dont do it!

I have known guys who have told me if I ever gave them an opportunity they would rape me without hesitation. Guys I knew irl in my town. I've had a guy back me in a corner in a freaking parking lot with his dick out during the day at my bloody job. So yea some guys wont hesitate to spike your drink.

I've always been lucky so far to drink with people who simply dont like me that way. But what if I drank with one of those guys and they hadn't told me there intentions? You see my point? Stay safe. Dont be a statistic.

If it does happen remember go to the hospital immediately. First stop I dont care if you areclste for work. Do not shower do not change do not wash your face or brush your teeth. If naked put something on of course but otherwise drive to the hospital immediately! Otherwise your rapost will very likely walk free since the evidenceve will be gone

I don't know who did it or why, but it's a very bad idea to leave an unfinished drink sitting in a public place when you don't know and completely trust the people you've left it with, and you're certain that they're sober enough to keep an eye on it.

Leaving a drink with a guy you don't know - or even allowing him to make you look away from it for a second - is dangerous.

Date-rape drugs are not an urban myth. They're easily available to the scumbags who want to use them, and unfortunately an awful lot of those scumbags are very good at putting up a charming front.

Why not just ask him and seeing as you were not kidnapped and roofy I think he was trying to save ur drink

It sounds thoughtful of him because it's unfortunately quite common that people put stuff in your drink when you're not watching. Not sure why he couldn't just watch it for you but maybe he wanted to check his phone or something so he put the coaster over. Personally I wouldn't even leave an unfinished drink with a guy i'd just met, I finish it before heading to the bathroom.

I do this when I bartend but it's just as likely he did it.
