it honestly depends on who it is, it doesn't have anything to do with their hobbies... unless their hobbies are their life or effect you. In this case it did because she didn't pay attention to you which was rude and inconsiderate, I for one always have time for friends and while I have never dated before I think if that person had caught my interest to the point where we had a relationship like that, I would have all the time in the word for them. My regular friends can skype message me and I instantly pause any games and reply (I am awkward and so are they so we don't meet up in person too often and we talk via Snapchat, Skype, text, etc.),maybe it's because I know what it's like to be ignored? Who knows, everyone is different and me playing video games won't effect how much I care for or acknowledge someone. Especially someone as important to me as a (girl/boy)friend. Then again I don't know how serious other people are, the reason I haven't dated is because I'm in high school and no one takes relationships seriously and if they do it's in a very immature way like sex. Boyfriend and I are both gamers. When a new game comes out, we're on that shit together, or if it's single player we give each other space to play or take an interest and listen as him or I explain what's going on. Normally, it's him who is on the latest game for consoles since I'm PC, and me asking a billion questions (some purposely troll to make him laugh) as he plays, and we typically have fun.

Maybe it's just me being older than the gamer girls, but, I did date fro a bit, and have sex with several times, a cut, sexy, great-smiled blonde gamer-type girl. She had an amazing, petite body, and a dry, fun personality, but, was really into the gaming thing and I wasn't..I had no idea what she was talking about half the time when she was explaining this character, storylines..I had no clue, and didn't care.

Other than that, we did pretty well together and had fun. I just didn't get the gaming thing at all.
