Dating someone unlike yourself

Would you date an outdoorsy person who hikes a lot and stuff if you are a homebody ? I like the outdoors but I have no interest in ever hiking. I hate carrying heavy packing. I hate sleeping outside because everytime I have its cold as hell no matter how many layers of clothing I wear, there's also tons of mosquitoes and there's no bathroom. I dont understand whats good about that nor do I wish to find out.
Would you date someone who did stuff like that often if you have no desire to ever ?
I am reluctant to date a fellow homebody though but on the other hand that doesnt mean we'll always sit indoors. But we can go for normal length walks instead, picnics and otherwise just chill at home which is all I want. I think that so many people are extreme with either being super outdoorsy or travelling nonstop everywhere or they're extremely social out drinking and partying and hanging out in large groups all the time. Just because one is young, does on have to do a bunch of things all the time ? What is wrong with chilling ? I look forward to being old and no one cares that you want to chill.

I believe differences are okay, but you need to have at least one interest in common too, that you can actually build your relationship on. And you need to either have the same values, or both be tolerant enough to agree to disagree

I purposely date people who differ from me in many aspects of life. Though, I prefer to stay single now(I prefer my own company). But I believe dating someone who is to similar isn't good, and someone who differs will make you try new things. If you love someone enough to go out, and live in a tent for a weekend when you don't want to, they're a keeper in my book.
