Democrat stacey abrams, a wrong gubernatorial candidate for georgia

Abrams, a tax attorney by trade, does not have experience in clean energy technology, and according to SEC filings, Brockington Hall acquired 15,000 securities of Heliogen on December 2021 as part of the merger with Athena. On March 7, 2022, Abrams directly received 40,404 securities of Class A stock under the “2021 Equity Incentive Plan” as a form non-employee director compensation. On July 7, 2021, the Law Office of Brodsky and Smith announced that it was investigating potential claims against Athena for possible breach of fiduciary duties and other federal and state violations in connection with the merger.

Abrams did not disclose a current or former fiduciary position, investment interest, or ownership interest in Athena Technology Acquisition Corp. on her March 15, 2022, Financial Disclosure Statement covering the 2021 calendar year. Abrams only noted a fiduciary, investment, and ownership interest in Heliogen, Inc.

When Abrams began her 2018 campaign, she had roughly $200,000 in student loans, credit cards, and deferred tax payments debt. By the beginning of her 2022 campaign, Abrams reported a net worth of more than $3 million. In 2021 alone, Abrams made over $3 million In part from delivering speeches claiming the 2018 election was stolen.

Abrams believes governors reserve the right to demand compliance from voters and that voters elect leaders to “tell people what they should do.” In 2018, Abrams stated that federal programs which allow local law enforcement agencies to train and enforce federal immigration laws “terrorizes families”.

Abrams’ nonprofit, Third Sector Development, had 7 tax liens placed against it for unpaid employment contributions. Abrams blamed the liens on clerical issues and a spokesperson for her office said that the issue was due to third party contractor errors.

Abrams called the Defund the Police movement a “necessary rallying cry” and has said “we need dismantle and eliminate qualified immunity.” In 2020, Abrams said that she was supportive of Black Lives Matter rioters and that she has been supportive by “helping with bail funds.” In 2021, Abrams said that America is “diseased by racism” and needs to be cured.

Yes, I live in Wisconsin. Note that I posted "No" that this post did not apply to me.

I'm very glad that you are planning to vote. That speaks well about you.

Who you vote for is up to you based on what's important to you personally. That's the great thing about America.

Voting is like your one job to do as a citizen. Least you can do is take 5 minutes and learn about your potential leaders policies.

I agree that its an important part of being a citizen,

I typically spend hours researching candidates (sometimes over multiple days - and I have been known to call candidates at home or at work and talk to them as part of the process). For presidential year elections I always drop in on both the Democratic and Republican offices and talk to them about their candidates (and pick up literature). I cannot see how someone can research candidates in a few minutes.

Outside of my wife in the last 7 years (after she became a citizen) - no one has ever known who I voted for in which election. I will say that I vote for whom I believe is the best candidate with no consideration for political affiliation.

That is an honorable stance to take. Though since my political position isnt a mystery here I still want to vote for the least damaging candidate. As I'm not a staunch Republican rather a right libertarian. Though the political choices that differ are only slightly different than a republican.
